MCI WorldCom MS150 Bike Tour

This ride, taking place on September 23rd and 24th, marks the 15th anniversary of the MS150 bike tour.

The riders start their 150 mile trip at the Oklahoma Air National Guard in Tulsa. They will ride 75 miles on Saturday, with their destination Camp Gruber. There will be several rest stops on the road there, in addition to SAG Wagons for troubled riders. After an enjoyable evening and a good night's sleep in Camp Gruber's barracks, the fortified riders will return to the Oklahoma Air National Guard to be met with cheering, congratulations, and many thanks from attending MS victims.

In 1999 $250,000 with 599 registered riders. The goal this year is to have 1,000 riders with $300,000 raised.

The event is fully catered and has many sponsors. Worldcom is part of the tour for the third time. One sponsor, an individual with a moving company, has made a tremendous contribution to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and been a source of inspiration for many riders. His name is Josh Keeler and his company is called Two Fellas & A Big Vehicle. Josh has made his vans available to transport luggage from Tulsa to Camp Gruber and back for several years. He donates $5 from every move he does to the MS Society. His company has already raised over $2,000 this year. Congratulations and a warm 'Thank You' are due to this wonderful man.
